I was on the ground in Durban the last week of July 2019. Shown here is the view from  my room at the Hilton and the Durban skyline. I have some video of the beautiful  beach as well but will have to bring  those to you via YouTube.

This, my first trip was mostly like traveling from one city in the US to another (from the airport to the Hotel, and to the venue all via Uber), let alone the 15 hour airplane ride across the Atlantic ocean. This after having made my way to New York from North Carolina.

Suffice it to say that I love Africa and hope to go back for a more extensive visit very soon.
